College Acceptance Packets

UCD packet finally came today! It was the one I was waiting on. UCSD+UCI packet came the day after I submitted SIR for UCD. I didn't know that you were supposed to reject the offers so that people could get off the waiting list...my bad.

Burned Alive

Last night, at I don't know, sometime near 11? There was a fire at my neighbor's house. I didn't actually get to see the fire, but I saw the firemen still hosing down the house to make sure the fire was completely out. My aunt told me that a man was taken to the hospital because he was burnt(I don't know how badly burnt he was though), I hope he's alright. There was around 4 firetrucks, an ambulance, and a news reporter there. When I was about to head back to the house, I saw two men park their car near my house and sprinted towards the burnt house. How sad, apparently they lived there for a really long time, before my dad even immigrated here(my dad could be wrong).

Start saving my money

Need to stop shopping and start saving. Why you ask? College in the fall and we all know college tuition will be a pain in the arse. I'll have to buy a ton of things in the summer as well for college like a new laptop, bike, backpack, etc. Okay, maybe not completely stop shopping, but I should shop less. I'm most likely still going to buy those boots/booties that I talked about in my earlier post. Oh, and I'm going to start attending a certified nursing assistant program which is $1000! Goodbye weekends, hello hell. Will pay for YMCA by myself, don't want to use parent's money. Need a job. NOW. Please hire me Cotton On.

Oh, let's not forget how my parents had to drop $100 for me to submit my SIR for UCD. Oh, in case you didn't know, SIR is statement of intent to register. Will have to spend an additional $265 for orientation. Such bull. Goodbye money.

CURRENT WANTS

I think these booties are so adorable! Some of my friends have already noticed that I love black shoes. I'll buy these when I have the money and hopefully they'll still have my size. Hopefully they're comfortable!


I'm going to need a pair of leather boots when I'm in college for when it rains! People said leather boots > rainboots. Plain black leather boots! Love these! Don't have the money for it now...but hopefully they'll still have it in my size and my mama's.

Seychelles Hawk Oxford Bootie

Ordered these oxfords last night and I hope they fit. I'm normally a size 6 or 6.5 and people said that it fits kind of small, so I was wondering whether I should get a 7 or not. I ended up getting a 6...I mean it's leather, so hopefully after a few wears, it'll stretch out or whatever and will fit perfectly.
